I learned a very, very hard lesson last night.  I had decided to stay at the university to do some extra homework and go to a Nation Band Association meeting.  So, being the excessively naive and trusting person that I am, I decided to go to the local Aldi store and pick up something to eat.  I was originally going to go with my normal standby of off-brand pop tarts when, what did I behold? A delightful frozen dinner of a delicious Salisbury Steak smothered in gravy with a side of mashed potatoes and corn!
Some days I am an idiot in the first degree.
So, what did I do?  I put away my at least semi-healthy pop tarts and picked up my sparkly new tv dinner.  I got back to school, got it warmed, and dug in!
15 minutes later, after I had forced the last of the horrendously disgusting processed meat product down my throat, I felt both sick to my stomach and completely grossed out.
What did I learn?  You can never buy a Salisbury Steak dinner for 89 cents.  Especially not a charbroiled one.
BTW, we leave for tour tomorrow, so I should maybe have some time to work on some stuff.  Yay!
